A bit of culture on todays jorney did not scare our british travel companion. We walked around norways oldest stave-church at Urnes (as it hadn’t opened yet), before boarding a very old and small ferry that cars had to back into! Across the green fjord surrounded by mountains we headed for the glacier called Bøyabreen where Bob could teach us norwegians quite a few things about glaciers.
The next ferry was a sleek, modern, electrical powered one, very different from the first. Quite silent and impressive.
Further west we visited a stone who has been naturally shaped by water and stones over centuries.
Frank held his promise that we would finnish in time for a shower before dinner today – what a luxury on yet another sunny and beautiful day.
