First I have to tell you, that when we were enjoying an extremely fresh and delicious cod yesterday, Bob suddendly said: is that a submarine? And it was! Funny thing.
Todays first goal was the westernmost point of mainland Norway – Vestkapp! And after 4 days of glorius sun and blue sky, ehat met us up there was fog! We could hardly see the coastline right under us, let aline the islands of England! And the fierce wind made the place an extremely cold and unhospitable place to be, we never even took the helmets off! But that is Franks extreme mororbiketrips for you, no mercy!
A misreading of the ferrytable led us to drive around some fjords instead of waiting for the next ferry, and this was a fine and scenic ride, only there was no place to eat along the way! Just 10km before we ran out of fuel we found the smallest little gasstation I’ve ever seen.
Getting very hungry we went for the emergency-rations which was chili con carne cooked on a trangia at a beautiful spot by the lake. Bob finally understood why Amundsen beat Scott..
The last ferryride was the most beautiful and most expensive one we’ve ever taken, watching steep mountains and the falls called The seven sisters glide by.
Cannot complain about the view from the hotel tonight.
